"Power" is linebred Mavis Peavy (ApHC Hall of Fame Inductee) program breeding. Peavy's Uncle Sam was her Appaloosa Herdsire his entire life, and Jill's Jack Sam was the stallion that she choose for his replacement. Power traces back several times to horses that were at the center of her breeding program - Peavy's Uncle Sam, Due Claw, Papoose Peavy, Gold Heels, Ding Bob, Papoose, and the Old Blue Mare (See Frank Holmes Spotted Pride book). Other Appaloosa icons in his pedigree include Bar Plaudit, King Plaudit, Wapiti, Mighty Cut-Up, Abdull's Pok-A-Son, and War Fair (tracing back to Man O' War).

His sire (and grandsire), Loud And Clear, is a R.O.M. stallion with 22-1/2 National Halter Points, 35 National Most Colorful Points, Regional Halter Hi-Point as 2 & 3 Year Old Stallion in three Regional Clubs and was listed in the Top 10 in National Halter Points. He was also shown at the World Show.

His dam, QPs Cute And Sassy is a very LOUD leopard mare with a loud leopard background with multiple leopard lines on the bottom side of her pedigree. He has no Dreamfinder or Impressive in his bloodline and is an outstanding individual cross.

In addition to his royal blue pedigree, Power also has conformation and disposition along with great color. He was saddle broke and ridden six months at age two. His 2011 foal crop was 75% leopards.
